Coincidence meets coincidence to make fate
Or at least that’s how it should’ve been
LOOΠΔ members reside on the Möbius strip, constantly orbiting around three different worlds – Earth, Middle Earth and Eden, coming together in the end to form a ‘Girl Front’ – a movement under which all LOOΠΔs around the world will be free.
ONLYONEOF members pick up various shapes, starting with a dot that forms a line, eventually leading to a jump which creates their own multiverse, molding their universe according to their own will, breaking off the constraints and limitations of other groups.
YANG CHENG-HAN is the only 8x8x8 member that has been unable to build up the courage to spread his wings, form a dot and make the jump. Based in Beijing, he leads a simple life as an university student, having seemingly forgotten about his role in the multiverse and his connection to other people involved.
BUTTERFLY marks the start of a predebut project for 8'D Creative’s newly scouted trainee, looking to explore the theme of insecurity and isolation. “Do we only have one chance to make the jump? Is everything over once you back down once?” he asks, faced with the high societal pressure to perform well under any circumstances, especially in the KPOP industry. This marks the company’s first entry on the Chinese market, looking to build up its international status and influence.

Everyone has felt the need to get away and escape somewhere far-off at one point in their lives. As the song says, it all starts with a small flap of your wings, and soon enough it'll turn into a hurricane. Cheng-han longs to spread his wings but eventually finds himself too scared to take the risk.
“It gets dizzy, everything around me is blue”
In today’s society, a second of hesitation is often enough to mark someone as a failure. But is it wrong to question our goals? Is hard work and blindly following our ideals enough to succeed? Do we really only have one chance at life?
